Hello everyone,

This is Carl Mathison, aka Yachtsman or Yacht from many financial publications and Internet investing websites where I have been writing for many years. I am providing this totally free web site for readers focused on investing, building long-term wealth and preparing financially for retirement; or if you are now in retirement, I’m trying to provide guidance and share some of the lessons I have learned over the past 35 years of investing.

I truly don’t have all the answers about investing. But if you have read my work in the past, you do know I understand some of the questions involving the economy, the stock market, fixed income investing, asset allocation and the diversification and investment Disciplines that are required to build wealth through long-term core positions and trading around them in staged buys and sell consistently and profitably.

That is what I’ll be writing about, along with providing links to important government and private entity web sites that contain very useful and valuable information for your use. I will also be sending out a free newsletter, market updates and trading desks updates when I feel I have some information to share that may be useful to your investing. Please keep in mind that these are my personal market opinions and much of the market information I obtain is from traders on the desks who may be short or long stocks or the markets.

My sole objective is to share what I have learned and may hear from my market sources. I am guaranteeing nothing other than my best efforts to try to help make you a better investor.

I am also near completion of my book Yachtsman Retirement Investing and once completed the proceeds from the book will be donated to the National Kidney Foundation. We greatly appreciate the work of the NKF as our son has undergone two kidney transplants and the NKF has proven to be a wonderful organization that has helped to keep our son alive.
